After two years of winning, "Breaking Bad" is now out of the equation, so, which series will bring the trophy home? "Orange Is The New Black" makes its debut in the Drama category and it stands out from the rest of the competition, thanks to its content. "Mad Men" has already 4 wins for this exact category, maybe on this final season it will receive again the love from the Emmy voters? Homeland has won this category before, so it might repeat the 'trick'. "Better Call Saul" might accomplish what "Breaking Bad" (the series in which it's based) and win this year. "Game Of Thrones" - according to the critics - had an consistent season, and that's why it's a strong contender on this list. From all the shows, I believe that "Downton Abbey" is the 'weakest link'.
Who will win : Mad Men sounds like an accurate bet.
Who deserves to win: As I haven't seen all of the shows that are nominated, I will refrain myself from the decision.
Who should have been nominated: The Newsroom, Orphan Black. And according to a large scale of people: Empire, but I haven't see it, so I can't speak.
Nos dois anos anteriores, "Breaking Bad" foi o grande vencedor desta categoria. Agora com a série fora da equação, qual das sete nomeadas poderá levar o troféu para casa? "Orange Is The New Black" 'estreia-se' na categoria de Drama e (tendo em conta a sua temática) demarca-se da concorrência. "Mad Men" venceu durante quatro anos consecutivos, será que na sua última temporada voltará a receber o amor dos votantes? "Homeland" também já conta com um troféu e pode repetir a 'façanha'. "Better Call Saul" pode repetir o feito da série da qual deriva ("Breaking Bad") e vencer o troféu este ano. "Game Of Thrones" - segundo os críticos - teve uma temporada consistente e por isso é também uma das fortes apostas para vencer o troféu. "Downton Abbey", de todas as séries nomeadas, parece-me o 'elo mais fraco'.
Quem vai ganhar: Mad Men parece-me a aposta mais certeira.
Quem merecia ganhar: Como não vejo todas as séries, vou-me abster.
Quem deveria ter ficado nomeado: The Newsroom, Orphan Black. E segundo alguns Empire, não posso opinar porque nunca vi.

Claire Danes is the strongest link, since the first season of "Homeland", she gets nominated every single year for her performance - and she won 2 times. However, she's 'battling' 3 strong debuts: Viola Davis, Taraji P.Henson and Tatiana Maslany - who after 2 snubs got a well-deserved nomination. This is the fifth year that Elisabeth Moss is nominated and since it's the last season of "Mad Men", maybe the Emmy voters will give her the trophy. But we can't forget Robin Wright, who won a Golden Globe for her amazing Claire.
Who will win : Viola Davis is the critics' favorite, Tatiana Maslany is the public's favorite.
Who deserves to win: Undoubtedly, Tatiana Maslany.
Who should have been nominated: Maybe Taylor Schilling or Gillian Anderson. But I honestly feel that the actresses that are nominated are the right ones.
Claire Danes é a nomeada mais 'forte', desde a estreia de "Homeland" que não arreda pé da lista de nomeadas e já venceu duas vezes. Contudo, está a 'batalhar' com 3 estreias muito fortes: Viola Davis, Taraji P. Henson e Tatiana Maslany - que após 2 anos em que foi injustamente esquecida, recebe agora a merecia nomeação. Este ano celebram-se 5 anos em que a Elisabeth Moss é nomeada, e como se trata de uma temporada final, será que os votantes dos Emmys lhe vão finalmente atribuir o prémio? Não esquecer Robin Wright que já venceu o Globo de Ouro pela sua fantástica Claire.
Quem vai ganhar: Viola Davis é a favorita da crítica, Tatiana Maslany é a favorita do público.
Quem merecia ganhar: Inquestionavelmente Tatiana Maslany.
Quem deveria ter ficado nomeado: Talvez Taylor Schilling ou Gillian Anderson. Mas honestamente acho que o painel de nomeadas é justo.

Jeff Daniels is the only one who already has an Emmy for the role that he is nominated. First nomination for: Liev Schreiber, Kyle Chandler and Bob Odenkirk. Third nomination for Spacey and eighth nomination for Hamm.
Who will win : After eight times, I feel like this might be John Hamm's year.
Who deserves to win: I only watched "The Newsroom" and "House of Cards" (from all the nominees) and I feel that Kevin Spacey isn't getting enough love for his amazing character.
Who should have been nominated: In the post "Most Underrated Performances and Shows 2015" I've said that I would like to see Kevin Bacon, Jamie Dornan and Ryan Phillippe nominated, but I know that all of them are 'long shots'.
Jeff Daniels é o único que já tem um Emmys pelo papel em que está nomeado. Primeira nomeação de Liev Schreiber, Kyle Chandler e Bob Odenkirk. Terceira nomeação para Spacey e oitava para Hamm.
Quem vai ganhar: Eu diria que à oitava é de vez: John Hamm.
Quem merecia ganhar: Das séries nomeadas eu só vejo "The Newsroom" e "House Of Cards", contudo acho que o trabalho de Kevin Spacey não tem recebido reconhecimento que lhe é merecido.
Quem deveria ter ficado nomeado: No post "Most Underrated Performances and Shows 2015", eu disse que gostaria de ver nomeados: Kevin Bacon, Jamie Dornan e Ryan Phillippe, mas tenho a noção do quão improvável seria.

Uzo makes her debut in the Drama category, after winning as guest star in a comedy series last year. Golden Globe winner, Joanne Froggatt from "Downton Abbey" is a strong contender this year. "Game of Thrones" favorites : Emilia Clarke and Lena Headey are also nominated. And six times nominees, Christina Hendrick and Christina Baranski are also on the list.
Who will win : Uzo Aduba or Lena Headey.
Who deserves to win: I've watch two seasons of "Game of Thrones" and "Downton Abbey", so I'm familiar with most of the actresses work. I feel that Uzo has a really iconic and challenging character, so for me she would be the winner. But I've to reckon that 'Shame' scene from "Game Of Thrones" might give Lena her first award. And although I didn't watch the following seasons of "GOT", I can say that (for me) her character is the MVP of the show.
Who should have been nominated: I feel like Madeleine Stowe and Olivia Munn - who were highly snubbed -; Geena Davis - who 'saved' Grey's last season- and Lorraine Toussaint - who has amazing on "OITNB".
Uzo estreia-se na categoria de Drama, após ter vencido enquanto participação especial numa série de comédia, no ano passado. A vencedora do Globo de Ouro (nesta mesma categoria) deste ano, Joanne Frogatt da série "Downton Abbey" é uma forte concorrente este ano. As duas adoradas atrizes de "Game of Thrones": Emilia Clarke e Lena Headey estão nomeadas. Assim como, as seis vezes nomeadas, Christina Hendricks e Christina Baranski.
Quem vai ganhar: Uzo Aduba ou Lena Headey.
Quem merecia ganhar: Eu vi duas temporadas de "Game of Thrones" e de "Downton Abbey", portanto estou familiarizado com metade do trabalho das nomeadas. Acho que a personagem de Uzo é icónica e desafiadora, por isso (para mim) merecia vencer. Contudo, tenho que reconhecer que o excerto da memorável cena de "Game of Thrones" - conhecida pela cena do "Shame" - pode trazer a Lena o seu primeiro troféu. E apesar de não ter visto as restantes temporadas de "GOT", posso dizer que (novamente para mim) a personagem de Lena era a mais rica [no sentido de profundidade] de toda a história.
Quem deveria ter ficado nomeado: Sem dúvida, Madeleine Stowe e Olivia Munn - que foram extremamente menosprezadas -; Geena Davis - que salvou a última temporada de "Anatomia de Grey" - e Lorraine Toussaint - que foi fantástica em "OITNB".

I've watched half of the Bloodine's pilot, the first two seasons of "Game of Thrones" and "Downton Abbey", and I'm binge-watching "House of Cards". So I might not be the best guy to make a prediction in this category. But, I do believe that the winner is not in one of the series that I just mention.
Who will win : Jonathan Banks. Its getting a lot of hype around him.
Who deserves to win: Like I've said before, not the best judge in this category.
Who should have been nominated: Undoubtedly, Sam Waterson e Jordan Gavaris.
Eu vi metade do episódio piloto de "Bloodline", vi apenas as duas primeiras temporadas de "Game of Thrones" and "Downton Abbey" e estou a ver "House of Cards" em maratona (estou na segunda temporada). Por isso, não serei a pessoas mais correta para fazer uma antevisão nesta categoria. Contudo, pelo que tenho lido pelos críticos especializados, o vencedor não se encontra em nenhuma das séries que acabei de mencionar.
Quem vai ganhar: Jonathan Banks. Esta a receber um enorme alarido em torno da sua prestação.
Quem merecia ganhar: Como disse anterior, não sou a melhor pessoa para julgar esta categoria.
Quem deveria ter ficado nomeado: Sem dúvida, Sam Waterson e Jordan Gavaris.
In a few days, I will predict the comedy categories. And I'm more acquainted in that category.
Daqui a uns dias, farei a antevisão para as categorias de comédia. E nesse género, eu estou muito mais inteirado.
